What we shipped
- Full technical SEO audit and rebuild for a Shopify beauty catalogue
- Site architecture restructured for category and product-level rankings
- Keyword expansion across organic skincare, natural beauty, and ingredient-led search queries
- Content strategy built around purchase intent in the Dutch market
- Reporting tied to organic revenue and transaction data, not traffic alone
The Shopify store was live, the catalogue was built, and there was genuine demand in the Dutch market for natural and organic skincare. But 18.7K clicks and 512K impressions over six months told the story of a brand operating well below its ceiling. The gap between what they were capturing and what was available wasn’t small.
Taking stock before taking over
The audit told us what the numbers already suggested. Keyword coverage was narrow relative to the breadth of the product range. The Shopify architecture wasn’t structured to support category-level rankings in a competitive beauty market. And the content layer — the pages that sit between a search query and a purchase decision — wasn’t deep enough to compete for the terms that drive revenue in organic skincare.
What we built
The technical foundation came first: site architecture, crawl structure, page speed, and schema markup — the components that determine whether a growing Shopify catalogue can rank at scale across a competitive vertical. Beauty and skincare is a crowded search landscape. Clean structure and fast load times are table stakes before content even enters the equation.
From there, we mapped keyword coverage across the full product and category footprint — organic skincare, natural beauty formulations, ingredient-led searches, and the commercial queries that sit closest to purchase intent in the Dutch market. The Netherlands audience searches with specificity. The strategy matched that.
The content build followed the keyword map: substantive category and product pages structured to rank for high-value terms and convert the traffic they earned. Not thin pages built for volume. Pages built to compete and close.
The outcome
Revenue grew 486% year over year. Organic transactions increased by 392%. Conversion rate improved by 179%.
That last number is the one that ties it together. Traffic growth without conversion improvement is a partial result. This program delivered both ends of the funnel — more people finding the store, and more of them buying when they got there.
The throughline is the same one that runs through everything we build: search visibility is the mechanism, not the goal. The goal is organic revenue a brand can see in their Shopify dashboard and trace directly back to what changed.
